2024 Fishing Calendar

Fishing is what NZers want to do as soon as they see a piece of coastline. Timing is more important than the state of the tide; it is by the moon.

From 1999 we have published the weather almanacs. But it all started with knowledge gained through a study of the Maori Fishing Calendar, which turned out to be a universal system. We ended up publishing that, too, through the early 2000s. When the almanacs also incorporated the fishing calendars, we ceased separate publication of the books to sell them online.  

This year again the reader will find not only the best bite times for each day, but also which coast. Reasons are also given. There are also kingtide times.
